Adolescence en The Studio grote winnaars bij Emmy Awards

Adolenscence ging met zes Emmy's naar huis

De 2025 Emmy Awards zijn gisteren uitgereikt, waarbij series als Adolescence, The Studio, Severance en Hacks in de prijzen vielen.

Zo won Adolescence zes awards, waaronder een award voor beste gelimiteerd uitgebracht serie of anthologieserie. Daarbij werd Owen Cooper de jongste mannelijke winnaar ooit met zijn Emmy voor ondersteunende acteur, en schrijver en acteur Stephen Graham won de Emmy voor beste acteur.

Ook The Studio, Seth Rogens komische serie over het wel en wee van een filmproducent in Hollywood, viel in de prijzen met vier Emmy's, waaronder voor beste comedyserie en beste acteur. Ziekenhuisserie The Pitt nam drie Emmy's in ontvangst en Tramell Tillman en Britt Lower wonnen beide een Emmy voor hun rollen in Severance. Ook series als The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Hacks en The Penguin wonnen prijzen, laatstgenoemde specifiek voor Cristin Milioti's rol.
