Harry Potter-game Hogwarts Legacy was in de eerste helft van dit jaar de bestverkochte game van Europa.
Dat blijkt uit data van Games Sales Data, dat werd gepubliceerd en geanalyseerd door Games Industry. Games Sales Date heeft toegang tot bijna alle verkoopcijfers van games in Europa, zowel fysiek als digitaal. Digitale verkoop op Nintendo-consoles is echter niet toegankelijk en wordt dus niet meegerekend. Ondanks dat staat Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom toch op de vierde plek.

De stomme boycot van JK Rowling en Hogwarts is dus compleet mislukt. Prima.
Tears of the Kingdom is de enige exclusive in de top 10 EN digitale sales zijn nog niet eens meegerekend. Het kan dus goed zijn dat ie eigenlijk op nr.1 staat. Wat een kanon is die game zeg!
